This Chinese New Year (CNY), it looks like it’s going to be a fabulously looong weekend. As per every Chinese New Year, we, the non-Chinese common folk will find that all malls turn to ghost towns and almost everywhere is closed. The roads will be quiet and our normal lepak places become so gloomy that the moment we reach it, we wish we hadn’t left home in the first place. As a public service reminder, please stock up your kitchens before CNY eve when there are still food on the supermarket shelves for you to purchase. But in case you didn’t reach the supermarkets in time, here’s a list to save you from going hungry this weekend.
