One of our newest merchants to join the FRIENDS Pass is @nooshnoodlebarandgrill! On our latest visit, we tried quite a number of things, but my favourite has got to be the Truffle Mushroom Bisque, The Squid Cekedok and the Noosh Prawn Har-lok cantonese rice. If you're in town, and you don't know what to eat – go to Noosh. Why? That's coz this is the restaurant with the largest variety of food that I've come across. You can get Japanese food, Malay Food, Chinese Food, and quite a number of other asian and western food choices all in one menu. See full video to see all the favourites I tried! Food and drinks featured in the video:

1. TRUFFLEd MUSHROOM BISQUE

This is has got to be one of the best mushroom soups that I’ve ever tried in Singapore. One look at the smooth texture of the soup had me wondering if this one is made in-house, but once I tasted it, my doubts were erased. The smooth texture was achieved with the soup being completely blended, at the final stages of preparation. I especially loved the beef bacon on it. Rated 5/5 I recommend that you don’t miss the soup when you visit Noosh!

2. Noosh drinks: The Virgin Daquiri / Butter Beer / LYCHEE MOJITO

Noosh really has a wide selection of designer drinks! The most famous drink has got to be the butter beer, but I wish their counterparts were just as famous. I normally would love a citrus lychee mojito over ANY drink – but this time, the Virgin Daquiri really took top spot with their unexpectedly refreshing mixture of cranberry and orange.

3. SQUID CEKODOK

I saw the squid rings, and immediately ordered it, expecting calamari – boy was I wrong! Noosh gives you more value for money with the squid Cekodok because it actually uses more Squid to make 1 Squid Cekodok compared to having just 1 ring of squid for every calamari. This is mainly because to make a squid cekodok, you Noosh has to blend the squid, and turn it into a batter, shape it into rings, batter it and then fry it.

4. NOOSH PRAWN HAR-LOK CANTONESE RICE

Noosh Prawn Har-Lok Cantonese Rice caught my eye the moment I opened the menu. This is comfort food for the empty tummy, and it probably a great choice for those of you who are in town, while skipping breakfast. This was my preferred choice of mains during my visit!

5. SMOKED DUCK LEMAK CHILLI PADI PASTA

I bet this one is a hot favourite among our Malaysian followers. One thing that I can say about this Lemak Cili Padi Pasta, is that it is LEGIT lemak cili padi. Expect it to taste like the good honest lemak cili padi that you can find at your favourite Nasi Padang Shop. The only twist? It is served with pasta, and smoked duck. This means, if you’re bringing your mom to town, she wouldn’t find a problem of picking a dish at Noosh.
