This is Beef Bolognese, the way Muadz loves it. We usually prepare the sauce separately, and mix with spaghetti only the portion that we’re eating at the moment. The second portion will be for dinner the next day because this recipe makes too much for our family of 3 to finish at one go.

Prep time – 10 minutes
Cook time – 30 minutes
Serves 4-5pax

Regular Instructions

(1) Chop 1 big onion and half a knob of garlic.
(2) Sautee the chopped onions and garlic with cooking oil in a pot until fragrant
(3) Add in 300g of minced beef into the pot, and continue sauteeing until the beef looks cooked
(4) Add in.Herbs of choice into the pot. (I like rosemary and mixed herbs)
(5) Add in 2 cubes chicken stock, Tomato Puree (1 small can 140 – 200g), Diced Tomates (1 medium can 200- 250g).
(6) Add in 1 cup of water
(7) Cook for 20 minutes.

Disclaimer: I am not a chef nor a good cook, but I still have to make food for my family. Therefore, I make this blog first and foremost for my own use and decided to share it with everyone. It contains food that my family loves to eat, or have requested that I make again. You may find that recipes are adapted to fit the ingredients I can find in my local supermarket or adapted to make it simpler because as a working mom, I simply don’t have time for long and complicated recipes.

Kindly note that I have no interest in producing the ‘best’ recipes nor the most ‘culturally accurate’ food. Just simple food that my family loves to eat.
